Coastal Carolina University is committed to the highest standards of academic
excellence and recognizes outstanding freshmen and transfer students through
its scholarship program. All full-time degree-seeking students who apply for
admission to the University and are accepted by March 1 (for fall semester) and November 1 (for spring semester) are automatically considered for the following merit-based
scholarships:
- The Presidential Scholarship, President's Scholar Award, Provost's Scholar Award, and Coastal Scholar Award are awarded to entering first-time freshmen for academic excellence and achievement.
*As there are a limited number of awards available in each scholarship category, the freshman scholarship calculator does not guarantee a scholarship offer. This calculator presents the potential for scholarships based on academic requirements.
Coastal Carolina University's scholarship recipients present high school grade point averages that range from 3.5 - 4.0, SAT scores (critical reading and math) that range from 1100-1600, and ACT composite scores that range from 24 - 36. Merit-based scholarships are renewable for a total of four years (eight semesters) provided specific renewal criteria is met each academic year.
