Student Rights and Responsibilities
YOU HAVE THE RIGHT:
- To know what financial assistance is available and how to apply
- To know the cost of attending Coastal Carolina University
- To know how your financial need is determined
- To know the details of any aid you may be awarded including the repayment conditions of any loan you may receive
- To know the academic progress you must maintain to continue to receive aid:

YOU HAVE THE RESPONSIBILITY:
- To correctly complete and submit all forms required for the financial aid application process
- To submit any documentation, corrections or new information requested by Financial Aid and Scholarships
- To maintain satisfactory academic progress in your course of study
- To notify the lender of changes in your name, address or enrollment status if you have borrowed any loan funds
- To perform your work assignment in a satisfactory manner if you accept a Federal Work-Study award
- To comply with Coastal Carolina University’s refund and repayment policies if you withdraw from the University
