Pell Grant

Chanticleer Grant

This is an institutional award which requires completion of the FAFSA and is offered to incoming freshmen who meet need-based criteria determined by the University and do not qualify for other institutional aid, such as University Merit Awards, the Academic Common Market Waiver or athletic aid. Chanticleer Grants may be replaced by higher valued institutional aid, should the recipient become eligible after initial award. Chanticleer Grants are renewable, provided the recipient continues to meet the necessary need-based criteria as demonstrated annually through completion of the FAFSA (FAFSA must be submitted by January 1 to be considered). Students must be enrolled full-time. The award is valued at $1,000 for in-state students and $4,000 for out-of-state students.
