  Minor in French
(Course Descriptions [pdf])

The minor is intended for non-native speakers of the language in question. At least 6 credit hours of the minor courses must be taken at Coastal; some of the requirementsfor the minor may be met through study abroad. Students minoring in a foreign language must earn a C or above in each course to be applied toward the minor.

  Credits
Prerequisites:  
French 110, 120, or 111, or the equivalent 0-6
French 130 and 210, or the equivalent 3-6
French Minor Core  
Twelve credits of advanced French above 299 to include:  
  1. French 310
  2. French 311
  3. French 400 or 401
  4. One French elective above French 299

French 399 may not be used to satisfy the French minor Core.
