Geraldine Cantor

HI! My name is Geraldine Cantor.   I am a sophomore at Coastal and my major is Middle Level Education.  I am also a Spanish minor, with native fluency in the Spanish language. I was born in Bogota, Colombia. My family came to the United States 11 years ago and have been living in Maryland ever since.  I visit Colombia often and love seeing all my family there. I hope to study abroad soon, preferably in Spain. I also love hanging out with friends and having a good time. I tutor Spanish in the FLIC and am more than happy to help.

Kennia Diaz

¡Hola! My name is Kennia Diaz. I live here in Myrtle Beach. I'm a senior here at CCU. I am a native Spanish speaker, so I tutor Spanish here in the FLIC and am also majoring in it. I also tutor Italian. I would like to be a translator or teach Spanish at the university level. I love to travel and I also love going to the beach & hanging out with family and friends. So come see me at the FLIC and I'll be more than happy to help you!

Hauke Ludolfs

Guten Tag! My name is Hauke Ludolfs and I’m a German tutor in the FLIC. I’m originally from Jever, Germany.  I moved to the United States about 6 years ago and have been living in Myrtle Beach ever since.  I’m currently a sophomore at CCU and a Graphic Design major. Every year, during the summer, I enjoy traveling to Germany to visit my family and to travel through Europe. My main hobby is a sport called bike trials and I’m the only professional rider in S.C., for now.  I also enjoy the fine arts, video games, working out, relaxing with friends, and love the college experience. Come stop by the FLIC and meet some of our great tutors. Bis bald und auf Wiedersehen.

Samantha McGill

Salve! Hi my name is Samantha McGill and I tutor Latin in the FLIC. I was born and raised in Pennsylvania, right outside of Philadelphia. I am a sophomore majoring in Marine Science. I’m not exactly sure what I want to do with it other than branching off into the Marine Biology field and hopefully doing some kind of research while traveling all over the world. I love to run and used to be on the track team in high school and middle school along with some other sports.

Meghan Miller

¡Hola! Bonjour! My name is Meghan Miller, and I am a junior Resort Tourism Management major from Union Bridge, Maryland.  I tutor both Spanish and French, and I am also minoring in these two languages. I went on Coastal’s trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands during the most recent Maymester and it was a delightful experience! I am captain of the color guard in the Coastal marching band, and a member of the academic honor society Phi Eta Sigma and the international hospitality management society Eta Sigma Delta. I enjoy spending time with my family, pets, and friends, along with being outside, reading, and helping others. I love tutoring in the FLIC!

"Hey there! My name is Leah Pippin, I'm a History major and Asian Studies minor, and I'm a Japanese tutor here in the FLIC. I spent a year studying Japanese as an exchange student at Nagoya University of Foreign Studies in Japan, and I plan to go back to Japan and teach English when I graduate! I am SO excited about it! Other than studying Japanese, my hobbies include drawing, swimming, cooking, traveling, and playing video games. Oh, and otters are my favorite animals EVER! I'm looking forward to meeting you guys!"

Maeve Snyder

"Ciao! My name is Maeve Snyder. I'm a biology major from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, but I am passionate about Italian and learning new languages. I have been studying Italian since high school and I am always happy to help. I also love learning about Italian culture - especially food and film! I think the best way to understand different people and cultures is to learn their language. Hope to see you at the FLIC!"
