- YOU decide where your gift goes. Faculty can give to their own department or college.
The Intellectual Soul of CCU
The Kimbel Library and Bryan Information Commons serves students, faculty and staff of Coastal Carolina University by providing access to services and resources that support the curriculum of the University. The library strives to create a welcoming environment where individuals and groups can gather to study, do research, or just socialize. From collaborative group study areas to individual computing workspaces, the library provides state-of-the-art technology to ensure that students have the resources they need for academic success.
The Kimbel Library and Bryan Information Commons' door count is over 4,000 individuals per day. This means that every day nearly half the student population comes through the doors of the library! The library strives to be a high-tech, high-touch environment providing advanced technology with friendly and helpful staff.
If you would like to support the Kimbel Library, please note this on your payroll deduction request, select "Kimbel Library" from the drop-down menu of the Designation field on the online form, or write "Kimbel Library" in the appropriate section of the Faculty & Staff Pledge Form.
Why I Give To CCU
"As a CCU alumna and employee, I have to admit it wasn't until I began working in Alumni Relations that I really understood the importance of giving and even what just a little bit can do. Giving is part of what helps this university thrive and grow, but most importantly it can help a student pay for college through scholarships! I think even if I was not a CCU alumna, as an employee I would still give simply because I take pride in where I work. I want to see the students succeed and have endless opportunities. So if a few dollars out of each of my paychecks can help that along, why wouldn't I give? So whether CCU is where you graduated or where you work, GIVE BACK to the place that gave you a great education or a job (and wear TEAL on Teal Tuesday)!"
