Aligned with the University mission, programs
affiliated with Graduate Studies educate and motivate students to assume
leadership roles in professions that improve and enrich the lives of
individuals, families, and communities through advanced learning and service. Graduate
Study also serves as an inspiration for change - striving toward transforming
individuals’ lives. Graduate programs should offer rigorous academic programs
that prepare students, both in theory and practical applied knowledge, to serve
as leaders in their communities, organizations, and businesses. CCU graduates

intent, content, methodology, and product; shaped by the way that inquiry,
investigation and creativity are used to produce work in various scholarly,
pedagogical, artistic or other specializations. The ability to practice in one
or more specializations should be demonstrated through competencies related to
the creative work, inquiry, and investigation normally associated with the
specialization(s) chosen.
Graduate Studies also serves as a platform in
which to enhance the relationship between the humanities, the sciences, and
social sciences; relating specialization on larger social, cultural,
