In collaboration with surrounding school districts, beginning fall 2009, Coastal Carolina University (CCU) is offering eligible school district personnel in the South Carolina counties of Horry, Dillon, Georgetown, Marion, and Williamsburg the opportunity to register for graduate level coursework taught in the Spadoni College of Education at a payment rate of 50% of stated graduate tuition. This 50% tuition reduction is available to fulltime certified teachers and other instructional personnel registering for graduate coursework with the approval and consent of the school district. Teachers and other school district instructional personnel may qualify for the discounted rate (50% reduced graduate rate) if they are accepted for graduate study at CCU and meet the conditions that follow.
See CCU applications at http://coastal.edu/graduate/applications/NonDegreeGraduateApplic.pdf or

To find out the list of class offerings at Coastal Carolina University, you need to go through Web Advisor as follows: (This applies to grad students admitted to the University)
Go to www.coastal.edu and choose the Web Advisor link and then click on the student link. On the next page, under Registration, choose the search for sections link. On the next page a grid will come up. At the “term” box use the drop down arrow and choose the term (e.g. Fall 2009), then scroll to the bottom of the page and at the Location/Section Box use the drop down arrow and choose the CCU Main Campus option, and then to the right at the “academic level” box use the drop down arrow and choose the graduate academic level and then submit your choices. This page will also give you information on the class such as dates offered, time, location, professor’s name, availability, etc. Once you find the class you would like to take, then you can register through Web Advisor.
Also, please note that not all courses required for a degree at Coastal are included in the discounted course partnership. Most courses that are offered are a part of the Core and Speciality Area Coursework for degrees, or are offered due to critical certification needs in HCS.
