Program of Study Design – 36 hours total
Degree candidates will be required to attend an Orientation Seminar (offered
twice per year – Fall and Summer I) prior to admission to the Professional
Program of Graduate Study in Teacher Education. Each candidate will be
assigned an Adviser upon formal admission to the Masters Program.

EDUC 680 – MEd Capstone Seminar and Project (F, Sp)
The degree candidate will develop, execute, and present an action research-based
project that demonstrates mastery of a selected area of focus or addresses
an identified and approved goal to improve instruction and/or student
performance. This project and its resulting product and presentation will
be evaluated by a committee that includes college faculty, district staff,
and possibly a community representative. An electronic portfolio is also
required.
