MASTER OF ARTS
The Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree program is an avenue of entry in to the teaching profession through graduate study for those persons who wish to teach:

This is a five-semester, 36-hour cohort program of study and includes both advanced content study at the graduate level and teaching pedagogy instruction.
MAT students have opportunities to become actively involved in action research and professional presentations in the field of education and are encouraged to become engaged in the university mentoring program.
