As a subscriber to The Grant Advisor Plus, you have free access to our powerful database program TGA-PC and the monthly databases. The program was created before the web became popular, and is therefore not as appealing to newer subscribers who find the web searches easier and more intuitive. However, the program is still useful for generating custom lists of profiles for faculty or for in-house newsletters. With TGA-PC, you get the same database that we use to generate the Deadline Memo Hyperlinks as well as an annual database of more than 1200 program listings. You can create your own lists in various file formats using search criteria, and you can save these search Profiles for repeated use each month. Lists can be generated as ASCII text documents, useful for e-mailing to faculty. You can also generate HTML documents pre-formatted with tables and built-in hyperlinks — ready to upload to your own web page (with access restricted to your campus). All files generated by TGA-PC may be used royalty-free in your campus newsletter or computer bulletin board, including access-restricted web pages and gopher servers.
