Basics of Grants Administration for Administrative Personnel
The Office of Grants and Sponsored Research and Office of Grants Accounting will conduct an afternoon workshop for each college this fall semester in the "Basics of Grants Administration" at Coastal Carolina University. Participants will gain an understanding of post-award research administration at CCU.

GRANT FUNDING FROM A-Z
Grant Writing Workshop Series
The Office of Grants and Sponsored Research is pleased to announce a Grant Writing Workshop Series, Grant Funding from A-Z, a four-part series held in the Kearns Room 209.
The workshops are open to faculty and staff, and we encourage you to attend one session, two sessions or all of the sessions as your schedule and needs allow. We particularly encourage the attendance of new faculty as their schedules will allow.
Spaces are very limited so please register in advance by calling 349-2978.

Grants Paperwork Workshops for Administrative Personnel
We are available for grants
paperwork training at any time. Please contact Bruxanne Hein at 349-2918
to schedule a training for individuals, a department's administrative
staff, or new staff from different departments. The paperwork workshop
generally takes between 45 minutes to an hour.
Responsible Conduct of Research Workshop
The Office of Grants and Sponsored Research will hold a workshop on Wednesday, November 4th, 2009 from 2-3:30 p.m. in Wall 161 on the Responsible Conduct of Research.
This presentation will discuss the history and necessity of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), what needs review and why, the new NSF mandates requiring training programs in human and animal subjects prior to submitting research proposals, as well as detailed information on the Responsible Conduct of Research training required by all faculty, staff, and students conducting research on campus.
