Insurance Requirements

The minimum insurance requirements vary depending if you are a J1 or F1 status international student. J1 students are in the United States for an exchange program and are generally here from one semester to a year. F1 students have chosen Coastal Carolina University as their school of choice and are degree seeking.

Health History/Immunization Form

Every student entering Coastal   Carolina University  must meet the University's immunization requirements prior to registration.  Please click here for more information.

Proof of health insurance must be presented to the Office of International Programs and Services for confirmation and approval (applies to all insurance  purchases or renewals).

Athletes

Beginning the fall semester of 2007, all international student-athletes must purchase insurance through the Coastal Carolina University athletic department.  It is important to purchase this insurance before arriving to the United States.  For more information please contact the Athletic Department at 843-349-2820 or  http://www.goccusports.com/index.html?section=9&page=6 .
