The Coastal Carolina University Board of Trustees approves rates for the upcoming academic year each spring. These room and board rates are per semester for the 2014-2015 academic year. The 2015-2016 academic year housing and meal plan rates will be posted here when available.

‌Please note: When using a credit or debit card for transactions, a service fee is incurred. Some colleges and universities have discontinued accepting credit and debit card payments because of this. The University recognizes, however, that many students and families appreciate the convenience of using a credit or debit card for payment. Coastal Carolina University has been absorbing these charges, but will no longer do so because the funds associated with processing credit and debit cards have been paid out of tuition and other revenue, which reduces the dollars available for academic programs and services for all students. Therefore, effective December 3, 2013, all credit and debit card payments made by phone or online through WebAdvisor for student account balances, including tuition, fees, room/board, fines and other charges, will be subject to a percentage service fee of 2.7% charged to the individual card. The University will continue to accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and electronic checks, although there is no fee charged for electronic checks. The Office of Student Accounts will no longer accept credit or debit card payments by fax, but will accept cash, checks, money orders, and credit and debit cards in person. Click here for more information regarding the new Credit Card Policy.
