Biography:
Emma Howes earned her PhD at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and is an Assistant Professor of Composition and Rhetoric at Coastal Carolina University. Her research and teaching interests include composition and literacy studies, materialist feminism and feminist theory, archival research methods and methodologies, and the histories of women from the Southern Appalachian region.
