Prerequisites

First, students must be able to devote 120 hours to a semester internship that is not necessarily going to provide payment.  Second, students must be able to register for the three hours as an elective in their major or minor. Third, students who sign up for a humanities internship must be a major or minor in the humanities.

Each department of the Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts requires the following of its students to apply for internships:

• Junior or senior standing
• GPA  (varies with major)
• Prior approval from the chair of the major department
