During the school year, Intramural Sports, Campus Recreation and other departments on campus collaborate to bring nighttime and weekend activities to the students. This year is no different!
In Spring 2009, CCU Intramural Sports will be offering the Coastal Slam Basketball Tournament, with the winner receiving entry to the state basketball tournament, the Palmetto Classic. As just mentioned, the Intramural Sports program sponsors guys and girls teams to enter into the Palmetto Classic, held February, 2009 at Clemson University. The Palmetto Classic will determine the best intramural basketball teams from around the state. Some schools who will be in attendance are USC, Clemson, College of Charleston, Spartanburg Methodist, USC-Upstate, USC-Aiken, Allen, the Citadel, Charleston Southern, Winthrop and more.
