CCU juniors and seniors are invited to apply for a new scholarship this fall, thanks to local residents Dr. Pamela Pyle and Mr. Scott Pyle, who are establishing a Life & Legacy gift in the form of a "Make a Difference" scholarship.
CCU continued its collaboration with Russian State Social University (RSSU) by co-publishing a third book, “Youth and the Socio-Cultural Environment,” a collection of essays from different cultural and academic perspectives.
J. Ralph Byington, dean of the E. Craig Wall Sr. College of Business Administration at Coastal Carolina University, has been named CCU's interim provost, according to an announcement today by CCU President David A. DeCenzo.
Every Wednesday evening this summer, students in Coastal Carolina University’s BFA theatre program will present “This Wooden O,” a compilation of Shakespearean scenes, songs and sonnets.
The South Carolina Commission on Higher Education has given final approval for CCU’s first-ever doctoral program. CCU will begin offering a Ph.D. degree in marine science in 2014.
The Visual Arts Academy’s annual exhibition and Duct Tape Fashion Show will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, June 28, in the Edwards Courtyard. The Performing Arts Academy showcase is also on Friday.
