Portfolios I art exhibition opens at CCU

CCU art seniors are presenting their work in “Portfolios I: Graphic Design/Studio Art Thesis Exhibition” through Sunday, April 19, in the Rebecca Randall Bryan Art Gallery in the Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts.

Rapper Wale to perform at HTC Center

Grammy-nominated rap artist Wale, whose current album is No. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts, will perform at the HTC Center on April 20 at 8 p.m.

Caleb Jones, a freshman majoring in biology, is the student winner of Kimbel Library’s Edible Book Fair with his “Ant Mound” cake based on the children’s book “On Beyond Bugs.”

CCU English professor showcases new book

Coastal Carolina University English professor Jason Ockert will be reading from his new novel “Wasp Box” on Thursday, April 23, at 4:30 p.m. in the James J. Johnson Auditorium.
