Our online submission form is easy to use. Go to the Proposals
Page to login and complete the two page form. Please note the fields that
are required to be completed, then click submit and you are done! The
College Liaisons Committee will review all proposals for acceptance.
I have an idea for a presentation, but want to find
a co-presenter. Can you help?
Yes, go to our Discussion
Forum where you can post your idea for feedback, or visit the site
to gather others' ideas.
How do I register for the conference?
There is no registration form required to attend the conference; however,
the keynote address may require a ticket for general admission and
seating.
What does the conference cost to attend?
There is no charge. Attendees can participate in all of the conference
events and sessions free-of-charge.
Where can I park?
Parking is available in several lots around campus. In addition, Coastal's
shuttle bus will be available to traverse the campus. No parking decals
or permits will be required. Visitors requiring handicapped parking
must visit the Public Safety division in Athenaeum Hall for a special
decal and parking locations.
Where can I get lunch or a beverage?
The campus food service, ARAMARK, will be operating
its Cino Grille in the Student Center, Java City in Kimbel Library, and the Commons Dining
Hall located near the Rivers Residence Halls. Several
campus buildings have vending machines for beverages and snacks.
Can I voice my opinion about the Conference?
Absolutely! Conference evaluation forms are available online
at the close of the conference on its website. Please complete one for the
conference. We want to hear from you!!
How long do the sessions last?
Most sessions will last 50 or 75 minutes, the same length as our regularly
scheduled classes on Thursdays and Fridays. There is a schedule
link located above on the navigation bar where everyone may access
the schedules for each day's presentations and events. Each presenter
must allow some time at the end of his/her session for questions from the
audience.
Will I need my vehicle to get me from one session to
another?
All conference sessions are held on the main campus and will allow for
sufficient time in-between sessions so that attendees can walk to each
session. The university shuttle bus will maintain its usual schedule
and is free-of-charge. |
