This topic is about the new proposed age-predicted heart rate prediction equation made by Gellish in 2007. We have always used 220-age to predict max heart rate but Gellish has proposed a more accurate equation for finding heart rate. I have reserched this topic and conducted VO2 max tests on college aged students to see which equation is more accurate.
