International Student Orientation
International Students Arrive: All day on Wednesday, January 6, 2016
International Student Orientation Begins: 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 7, 2016
All new international students are required to attend the International Student Orientation program. You must arrive on-campus on Wednesday, January 6 to move into housing. The orientation program will begin the following day.
During orientation students will be provided information on immigration regulations, the United States education system and academic expectations, adjusting to US culture and customs, creating or making changes to class schedules, and more. Students will also have the opportunity to go shopping, set-up a mobile phone, and open a bank account.

If you are arriving by your own means (and not an airport pick-up by OIPS) and will be living at University Place, you need to go to the Grand Strand Desk for University Place Check-in.

Degree Seeking students will stay at Coastal Carolina University to complete a degree.
Exchange Students and Double Degree students stay at Coastal Carolina University for one or two semesters and come from partner universites abroad. Double Degree students will complete a degree at Coastal and at their home institution.
All students should complete the complete the Pre-Arrival Checklist.
