Welcome to the website of the Office of International Programs and Services at Coastal Carolina University.  We are very pleased that you have chosen to visit and invite you to explore our pages. We are proud to say that over the years we have had students from Asia, Africa, Australia, Europe, and North and South America all come to study at Coastal.   

We are a mid-size university of approximately 8000 students located on over 150 acres.  Our college of business and departments of computer science and marine science are excellent as are, in general, all the degree programs we offer.  Classes are usually small and professors are readily available outside the classroom for consultation with their students. 

This area of South Carolina enjoys a climate with warm long summers and mild short winters (and hardly any snow).  You will find the people friendly and kind and the community a safe, relaxed place to live and study.  The campus is located about 11 miles (17.7 kilometers) to the west of Myrtle Beach (population: approximately 25,000) and the Atlantic Ocean and about four miles (6.4 kilometers) to the east of Conway, a small town of approximately 15,000.
