2011 Maymester Study Abroad Opportunity

International Business: A Focus on Europe

This program is designed to afford students the opportunity to develop an understanding of how the business processes, social/cultural practices, and academic preparation combine to shape the environment for business across international boundaries. Also, this course is selective for the management program. Over the past several years, students have traveled to locations in both the initial EU member countries and new member countries. This year's program will bring both students and faculty into contact with businesses, international organizations and institutions of higher education in Paris (France), Mainz, Bonn/Rheinbach/Remagen (Germany), and Prague (Czech Republic).

This year's program will offer students the new opportunity to complete two courses, CBAD 402 Study Abroad in International Business, which provides an overview of the business, social, economic, and cultural environments within which international business is conducted, and CBAD 401 International Business, a course which provides students a nuts-and-bolts exposure to the topics and issues that drive international business decisions.
