2011 Maymester Study Abroad Opportunity

Maymester in Madrid, Spain

Take advantage of this fantastic opportunity to earn university credit while acquiring or improving conversational Spanish skills in one of the most beautiful of the European capitals. The Intensive Spanish classes, resulting in SPAN 350 transfer credit, are offered at seven different levels from beginner to advanced. While in Spain, all students will live with host families. Room and board will include breakfast and dinner each day. Laundry is included in the price of the accommodations. Most of the families are not far from the school, and most students can walk to school each day. In a few cases, students may use the subway or bus for a 10 to 15 minute ride to the school. Transportation passes are included in the price of the program.

In Spain, students will be responsible for lunches which can be purchased for about five Euros. Other costs will include passport fees and passport photos.
