Local and national employers are seeking qualified students to assist with daily activities and special projects. Washington Internship Institute

The Washington Internship Institute's semester-long academic internship program is carefully designed to provide college sophomores, juniors, seniors, recent graduates, and graduate students with practical, hands-on experience and academically rigorous courses emphasizing public service, leadership, and professional development. As a student at WII, you’ll obtain practical experience by spending four full days per week at your internship site and one day taking classes in one of five specialized tracks including Inside Washington: Politics and Policy, International and Foreign Policy Studies, Environmental Law and Policy Studies, Global Health Policy Studies, and Global Women's Leadership Development. CCU offers special tuition accommodations for program participants.

Dream Careers

Spend a semester long internship in one of several exciting National and International locations.  Dream Careers offers an all-inclusive experience that includes a guaranteed internship placement, housing, meals, planned events, transportation and more. As part of each program, you will work one-on-one with an industry expert, who will help you refine your interviewing skills, perfect your resume, and ultimately help you secure an internship in your desired field. There are over 3,000 exclusive internship opportunities covering all majors designed to provide a high level career development experience.  Advanced Technological Intelligence Center

ATIC offers a 15-week internshp in Beavercreek, Ohio that combines a 10-week Analyst Boot Camp (ABC) program with five weeks working in the Center for Law Enforcement Analysis and Training. The program augments the formal college curriclum by offering the student a dedicated intelligence-focused semester of study in a classified environment, as well as hands-on analysis supporting ongoing law enforcement cases and analysis.

Benefit to Students

  • Sudents who successfully complete the program would receive 12 semester hours of academic credit at Coastal Carolina University, as well as U.S. government security clearance.
  • Provides a competitive advantage to students who are seeking employment in the U.S. intelligence community or supporting private contracting organizations.
  • This program would be ideally suited for students in their junior and senior years of the baccalaureate progroam.
  • AITC sponsors each student for a Top Secret security clearance with the U.S. government. You must be a U.S. citizen. Students may acquire an interim Secret clearance during the internship, allowing them to receive instruction and perform research at the classified level during the program.
  • More than 80% of ATIC's graduates are working in the defense and intelligence communities.

Tuition and Financial Aid

  • ATIC program costs are covered by the student's CCU tuition and may be eligible for student financial aid.
  • The program is approved for GI Bill funding for qualified veterans.
