Analysis

Institutional Analysis delivers research and analysis support through various research methodologies including constituent surveying, benchmarking, and statistical modeling to insure accuracy and reliability of data results. This unit performs descriptive and inferential statistical analysis on data to interpret results and identify trends.  The findings of the analyses are presented for decision making purposes.

Peer and aspirant institutions are selected by the University and are used for comparison and benchmarking. Currently Coastal lists 9 institutions as peers and 5 as aspirants.
The IRA&A Office collects, analyzes, and reports data on space utilization on campus using CollegeNet's X25 software. Reports are done in the fall and spring semesters that detail the University's average room and seat utilization in comparison  to historical data as well as state averages.
