How do I receive technical support?
Each employee of Coastal, whether faculty or staff, has an Information Resource Consultant (IRC) assigned to them. Your IRC should be contacted if you require technical assistance of any sort. IRC's are part of the Academic Computing ServicesGroup of Information Technology Services.

Your IRC acts as a liaison to other ITS areas to help solve your technical difficulties, whether network, hardware, software, or email related. If your IRC cannot remedy the problem they will consult with another ITS staff member and work with the customer until the problem is resolved. Information Resource Consultants have offices all over campus in close proximity to their area of support. They can be reached via e-mail, telephone, via the ITS Job Request System, or in person.

Information Resource Consultants also have knowledge in many other technology areas such as teaching with technology, fighting viruses, and using the internet. They are available to work with you to determine your computing needs!

How should I request technical support?
Please use the ITS Job Request System or contact your IRC directly.
