Passwords

Do all of the computer services that I log into have the same password?
Not all computer services have the same password. For assistance with any password (except WebCT), please contact your IRC. For WebCT information, please contact the WebCT Administrator.

Email
Email passwords are given to new employees once the employee's Request for Computer Account information is processed. Please see your Department Administrative Support for this form. Once your password has been generated your Information Resource Consultant will contact you to assist you in setting up your mail.

Datatel/WebAdvisor
Passwords for Datatel and WebAdvisor have the same password. Faculty and staff may obtain their Datatel password from http://www.coastal.edu/search/pin.

Novell Network
Your Novell Network password should be the same as your Windows password. Logging into Novell allows you to print to networked printers, and to connect to shared drives over the network.

WebCT
Faculty who have requested a class using WebCT are given a password by the WebCT Administrator, Tracy Gaskin. Faculty should contact Ms. Gaskin at (tgaskin@coastal.edu or x2353) for assistance.
