Jackson Center Fellow - Dr. David Killoren

 Jackson Fellow- David Killoren David received his PhD in Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2012 (but never did get used to Wisconsin's cold winters). His primary teaching and research interests are in Ethics. His current research focuses on the following topics: Skeptical challenges for moral realism; the possibility of moral perception; the prospects for first-order moral theories that accommodate moral dilemmas; the ethics of collectives; feasibility in political discourse; and a few assorted topics within animal ethics. He is a co-founder and managing editor of Philosophy TV. In the Spring, he is teaching Business Ethics and Environmental Ethics at CCU and working on a variety of projects at the Jackson Center.
