Marcia Patience

As a college teacher at Coastal Carolina University, I have had the opportunity to utilize the library on campus. In my Introduction to Exercise Science course I teach students how to read, interpret and write about scientific research. I find that the library is a great resource for various educational purposes including how to cite sources and write in a professional style.

Our library has a knowledgeable staff that has dedicated classroom time to teach my students how to navigate and use the library website to find research that is important to them. I, myself, have learned much from the library staff and believe that they provide an experience which makes the library enjoyable. I feel a bit smarter each time I exit the library's sliding glass doors.
