The way you cite an abstract from ERIC will depend on which version of the ERIC database you used to find the abstract. If you used the EBSCOhost version of ERIC available through Kimbel library, your citation will look like this:

An Abstract:

To do an MLA-style citation, start with the format of the original material, whether it is a book, magazine article, journal, etc. In the second half of the citation indicate the name of the index, the name of the library where you used the index (if it is a subscription database), and the date you used the database. In general, only include a Web address for the article if the article is freely available and can be accessed by anyone directly through the Web address. For articles from Web sites that require a subscription or password, give the Web address of the service's home page instead.
