Meta-Index for US Legal Research Search "Supreme and Circuit Courts' opinions, US code, US legislation, and many legal sites, all from one page!" FederalCode of Federal RegulationsThe "Code of Federal Regulations contains the text of public regulations issued by the agencies of the Federal government. Proposed regulations and regulations issued so recently that they are not yet in the Code of Federal Regulations database, may be found in the Federal Register". Congressional Record Online (via GPO Access) "The Congressional Record is the official record of the proceedings and debates of the United States Congress. It is published daily when Congress is in session". At this site you can search years 1995 - 2001. FedWorld: Supreme Court Decisions, 1937-1975 "Search and view full-text of Supreme Court decisions issued between 1937 and 1975." Decisions of the US Supreme Court Decision from May 1990 - present can be searched by topic, date or party name, & keyword. Federal Register Online (via GPO Access) "The Federal Register is the official publication for Presidential Documents and Executive Orders as well as Notices, Rules and Proposed Rules from Federal Agencies and Organizations". 1995 - 1997 are available for searching. United States Code The United States Code contains the text of current public laws enacted by Congress. This database is currently up-to-date through January 16, 1996. US Federal Courts Finder Provides links to the various US Federal District Courts of Appeal. SC is in the Fourth Circuit.
