Library Instruction: Scheduling a Session [

Procedures:
Faculty requesting a library instruction session can fill out the online instruction request form or can call
or email Jamie Graham, the Assistant Library Instruction Coordinator, at x2650 at least two weeks
prior to the date of the session.
Faculty should check the Library Instruction Calendar to see if the preferred time is available.
Reasonable effort will be made to accomodate all faculty requests.
Due to space and staffing restrictions, only one library instruction session can be scheduled in one time slot. Faculty wishing to
reserve their desired dates are encouraged to request instruction sessions as early in the semester as possible.
Faculty will need to have the following information when they schedule the session.
- Date and time of class.
- Number of students.
- Nature of research assignment: paper, project, bibliography, oral report, etc.
- Copy of syllabus or assignment.
- Any special requests for the session, such as resources that should or should not be covered.
