Ranges in length from one paragraph to an entire book. Calculators Sources that can quickly calculate data (mathematical calculations, loan payments, converting one energy unit into another, sunrise/sunset, etc.). Calendars World holidays & festivals; "On this day in history..." ; and interactive calendars that you can print out. Census Data Basic population, economic, and demographic data from various Census publications. Includes US & international data. Dictionaries Both general and subject-specific works that provide a meaning or information about a term or concept. Encyclopedias Contain information on all subjects or treats one subject comprehensively. Usually consists of short articles. Geography Maps, atlases, direction finders, and other resources which provide geographic information. Handbooks Designed to provide access to very specific information quickly. Usually by/for an organization or government--i.e. NATO Handbook or the US Government Manual. Quotations Collections of sayings, slogans, mottoes, and quotations. Telephone & Postal Information World-wide directories of telephone & fax numbers, as well as postal & e-mail addresses. Includes zip, country, and area codes.
