Interested in enrolling your child for literacy tutoring?
Our tutors are all state-certified teachers who are earning their Master’s of Education in Learning and Teaching with a literacy concentration. As part of their coursework, our graduate students design customized tutoring plans that develop their tutee’s literacy abilities. The plans our students create are based on your child’s literacy abilities, and our students set specific measurable goals to increase your child’s literacy abilities over the course of a semester. Then, for an hour each week during the semester, our students deliver research-based literacy instruction to your child. At the end of the semester, parents/guardians meet with their child’s tutor to discuss the progress their child made, and the Chanticleer Center for Literacy Education (CCLE) mails a report to them about their child’s progress.
