CCU named top military-friendly school for third consecutive year
CCU has been designated a “Military-Friendly School” by G.I. Jobs Magazine for the third consecutive year.
This honor placed CCU in the top 15 percent of all schools nationwide as a university committed to educating military veterans. CCU will be included in a listing in the 2013 Guide to Military Friendly Schools and in an online listing at MilitaryFriendlySchools.com.
“Coastal Carolina University is 100 percent committed to supporting those persons who have served in the military,” said Robert Sheehan, provost and senior vice president for academic and student affairs at CCU.
The 1,700 colleges and universities on this year’s list prioritize the recruitment of students with military experience by offering scholarships and discounts, veterans clubs and other services. More than 12,000 schools nationwide were considered.
