Amy Armstrong received a master's degree in higher education with an emphasis in student organization and leadership from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, Calif., in May 2007. She is working in university housing/residence life at Florida State University, where she plans to pursue a doctorate.

Sharon McGee Middleton was recently promoted from Human Resources Administrator to Manager of Human Resources for the Charleston County Aviation Authority at Charleston International Airport. She graduated from the 2007 Leadership Charleston Program, sponsored by the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce.
Kara Koppel Sheesley completed her master's degree at Colorado State University in May 2006. She married Morgan Sheesley on May 20, 2006 and is an occupational therapist at Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota.
Gabrielle Smart is studying at Mississippi State University to pursue a career as a pharmacist.
Dana Goffin Webb is expecting her first child in early 2008.

Laura Bowden received a master's degree in psychology and an educational specialist degree in school psychology from Radford University in 2007. She is a school psychologist with Henrico County Public Schools in Virginia.
Michael Hamilton works in the Office of Admissions at CCU as an admissions counselor. His beat is Maryland, Delaware and part of South Carolina. "I've been working for the university since the fall of 2006, and thanks to my position I've had the opportunity to travel to almost every major city on the east coast."
Suzanna Healey spent the past year working as an intern in the White House. In May of 2007, she received a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She is now working at the White House in the Office of the Vice President.
Crystal Hurkhart is a third-year law student at Widener School of Law in Harrisburg, Pa.
Lindsey Barnhill Swanner and her husband, Andrew Swanner, have a daughter, Marleigh Gail, born July 17, 2007. Lindsey is the foundations and daywear buyer for Peebles in South Hill, Va., and Andrew teaches history and coaches basketball at J.F. Webb High School in Oxford, N.C. The Swanners live in Henderson, N.C.

Brian Fahey is a tournament official for the Carolinas PGA of America. He lives in Myrtle Beach.
Erin Ferrera has been doing environmental education work with the Peace Corps in the Fijian Islands since May 2006. She lives on a remote island without electricity and running water and is two hours from the nearest town. She will return home in another year and says that this "has been an experience of a lifetime."
Michelle Johnson earned a master's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is employed at A.L. Stanback in Hillsborough, N.C., and teaches English and history.
James Sessions is a business development manager for M.B. Kahn Construction. He lives in Conway.
Maurice Simpkins has been re-cruited to play for Team Tennessee in the new All-American Football League (AAFL). He lives in Knoxville.
Amanda Hillman Whyland '06 and Michael Whyland '06 have a daughter, Samantha Claire Whyland, born Dec. 9, 2007. Samantha Claire weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces and was 19.5 inches long.

Hayley Glick is pursuing a master's degree in English at the Citadel.
Janet Shokal is working at CCU as alumni career coordinator in the Career Services Center. She has applied to graduate school at UNC Greensboro, and plans to move to North Carolina in July 2008 to begin a master's degree in counseling. She is also considering a law degree.
Suzanna Stoike is working in Worthington, Ohio, as an intern with the Port Orford Ocean Resource Team.
