Chris Donevant-Haines, Coastal Carolina University Counselor                                                                          

Chris is in charge of outreach efforts for the University's department of counseling services.  Chris since 2005.  Since coming to Coastal she has held primary responsibilities for all outreach and programming efforts for counseling services.  She has a BA in Social Sciences from Bluefield State College in West Virginia and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Webster University.

Susan joined our staff in 2012 and provides administrative support to both the Counseling Outreach Advocacy Student Team and the Women's and Gender Studies Program.  She is from the Northern Virginia area and brings with her over 20 years of corporate administrative experience.   Susan holds a BS in Business Administration from Old Dominion University in Virginia.

 

Michael Musick, S.H.O.R.E Coordinator

Michael is from Florence, South Carolina and is a communications major here at Coastal Carolina University.  He is the S.H.O.R.E Coordinator for student outreach.  He enjoys public speaking and event planning/coordinating.  Michael also enjoys fishing and traveling to new places.

 Tys'Jay Alston is a sophomore, she has a passion for standing up and fighting for what's right. She is a  political science major. Tys'jay was born Myrtle Beach, SC and raised in Columbia, SC. Upon graduating, she plans to go attend law school and practice family law. Tys'jay grew up believing that you can do it all with God, passion and determination!

 

 

 

Tanisha Thomas, Student Employee

Tanisha is from a small town close to Charleston, South Carolina named Moncks Corner.  She is a 19 year old sophmore and is majoring in sociology here at CCU.  Tanisha values her sleep and enjoys baking.  She has been working with Counseling Services as a student worker since January 2013.  Tanisha loves being a part of the Outreach programs that are held on campus and one day hopes to fulfill her dream to become a children's counselor.
