Quality communications enhance Coastal Carolina University's image and help relate the University's mission more effectively to students and prospective students, alumni, parents, faculty and staff, potential donors and the general public.
To assure consistency in all graphic and editorial communications, the Office of Marketing Communications is responsible for the preparation or examination of all materials for external audiences that are published by or for Coastal Carolina University, regardless of the funding source or sources. Classroom materials and personal correspondences are exempt. The Marketing Communications staff is responsible for assuring that all of these items meet writing, editing and design standards, and comply with graphic identity standards of the university.
The University name, logo, athletic logo and seal are registered and
fully protected identifiers and their use is carefully controlled. The
University's licensing and trademarks program is administered through
the Office of Marketing Communications.
