Biography
Daniel J. Ennis, associate professor and chair of the Department of English, joined the Coastal Carolina University faculty in 1999. He earned a bachelor's degree in English from the College of Charleston, a master's degree in English from Appalachian State University and a Ph.D. in English from Auburn University.
Ennis has published two books and numerous articles on 18th century literature and culture. He has served as co-director of the Honors Program as well as interim associate dean of the Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts.
His areas of expertise are British literature, modern drama and study abroad.
