Media
Services is a division of University Communication that provides
the faculty, students and staff of the University with audio-visual
equipment, media production, technical support and consultation
to enhance teaching, research, informational and promotional
activities of the University.
Audio-visual
equipment check out provides a wide variety of equipment and
technical support for the University. To request equipment
you can go to the Equipment
Check Out site and fill out an online form or call extension
2890.
Media
Services also maintains a professional television studio and
production facility available for videotaping and producing
videos and television shows. Media Services produces a weekly
TV Show called Coastal Today:
An Inside Look At Coastal Carolina University. The show
takes a look at what's happening at Coastal Carolina University
and is aired on SCETV and local cable throughout Horry County and parts
of Georgetown County. Call extension 2870 to make a request
or for more information.
Media
Services provides campus closed circuit television for distance learning, satellite
downlinks, teleconferences and other requested programs. Provides video and audio
tape duplication and standards conversion. Call extension 2892 for more information.
