A chronicle of Martin Luther King Jr.’s campaign to secure equal voting rights via an epic march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama, in 1965. “Selma” tells the story of how the revered leader and visionary, along with other activists in the movement prompted change that altered history forever.

A documentary film which celebrates the powerful work of a Boston LGBTQ troupe, True Colors: OUT Youth Theater, as they write a play about love. With wit, grace and attitude, this diverse troupe transforms theirpersonal struggles into a theatrical graduation about social change.

Friday, April 1, Wheelwright Auditorium 6 p.m.

Coastal students, faculty and staff come together to celebrate history and music of African- Americans through a musical timeline. Join us for what has become a campus favorite.
