Bryan Information Commons gets a name.

Official grand opening ceremonies for the Bryan Information Commons of Kimbel Library will be held at 3 p.m. today, Aug. 28, at the newly constructed building.

Bryan Information Commons is a study, reference and tutorial center, named for the family of the late CCU benefactor Rebecca Randall Bryan. The $6 million, 15,000-square-foot building features technology-rich work stations for groups and individuals.

The opening ceremony includes a reception and tours of the building.
