Scientists from Coastal Carolina University are hosting the Waccamaw Water Quality Data Conference on Wednesday, Sept. 19, from 9 a.m. to noon in the Burroughs & Chapin Center for Marine and Wetland Studies, Room 100.
Topics that will be covered include:

• South Carolina's Drought Status
• Water Quality Data - Bridging the Gap between Science and Management
• Impact of the Community on Water Quality (11:35 a.m., Christine Ellis, Waccamaw Riverkeeper)
The conference is hosted by the Waccamaw Riverkeeper, CCU's Waccamaw Watershed Academy and the Coastal Waccamaw Stormwater Education Consortium. The event is open to the public. A complete schedule is attached.
