CCU voice students celebrate 'La Luna' in song

Students of Jeffrey Jones, assistant professor of music at Coastal Carolina University, will perform "La Luna," moon-inspired songs, on Monday, Nov. 12, at 7:30 p.m. in the Recital Hall of the Thomas W. and Robin W. Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts. The event is free and open to the public, but tickets are required.

Jones' fourth annual voice studio recital will include repertoire from classical to popular songs inspired by the moon.

Student performers are: Madison Beane, Nicholas Bone, Melissa Cabey, Brianne Campbell, Krista Gierlach, Raina Gray, Sterling Harlston, Rebecca Jones, Colleen Kerrigan, Hunter Lowes, Giuseppe Maglione, Jennifer Pagano, Naomi Schulman and Caitlin Yarosz.

Pianists will include Daniel Francis, Ann Miles and Rebecca Rollins.

Tickets may be picked up at the Wheelwright Box Office Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or prior to the concert outside the Recital Hall. For more information, call the box office at 843-349-2502.
