Atlantic Stage, the only nonprofit professional theatre in Myrtle Beach, presents the drama "Rabbit Hole" by David Lindsay-Abaire, running from Jan. 18 through Feb. 3 at Coastal Carolina University's Myrtle Beach Education Center.
Winner of the 2007 Pulitzer Prize, "Rabbit Hole" is an emotional drama about a family dealing with grief. An unthinkable tragedy turns the world of Becca and Howie Corbett upside down. The Corbetts drift apart, and "Rabbit Hole" charts their bittersweet search for comfort in the darkest of places and for a path that will lead them back into the light of day.
The cast features Atlantic Stage Company members Mindi Blackburn Penn and CCU professors Thom Penn and Sandi Shackelford. They are joined by actors Janine Cunningham and Stephen Craig. The play is directed by Jen Plants and is recommended for mature audiences.
