Gospel Choir concert to wrap up CCU’s Homecoming 2013

Coastal Carolina University’s Homecoming 2013 will be capped off with an afternoon of gospel music from the Reunion Choir on Sunday, Nov. 3, at 4:30 p.m. in Wheelwright Auditorium. Free tickets are available for a limited time at the Wheelright Box Office.

The show will feature the three founding members of CCU’s gospel choir, the Coastal Inspirational Ambassadors, Sheryl Randall, Pat Singleton-Young and Carolyn Cox, collectivelly known as SPC. The concert is a continuance of the Gospel Choir’s 25th anniversary celebration. Former choir members will also be on hand for a “family” reunion at this Homecoming event.

In its quarter-century history, the CIA has helped to perpetuate the tradition of gospel music and the preservation of African-American culture by inspiring gospel music.

Wheelwright Auditorium is located at 107 Founders Drive on the CCU campus. For tickets or additional information, contact the Wheelwright Box Office Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 843-349-2787 (ARTS).
