CCU shows its range with Spectrum2 Concert

Coastal Carolina University hosts the annual Spectrum2 Concert, as part of the Coastal Honor Band and Scholarship Festival Faculty Recital, on Friday, Dec. 6, at 8:30 p.m. in Wheelwright Auditorium. General admission tickets are $15.

The musical program of the Spectrum2 Concert will span the Renaissance period through the 21st century, featuring full band performances as well as CCU music faculty performing solos and duets.

The concert highlights various music groups from the CCU Band program, including The Guitar Quartet, Jazz After Hours, Coastal Flute Choir, CCU Saxophone Ensemble, Coastal Clarinet Choir, Percussion Ensemble, CalypSamba Steel Band, Tuba/Euphonium Ensemble, CCU Spirit of the Chanticleer Drumline and CCU Spirit of the Chanticleer Marching Band.

Tickets for CCU/HGTC students and children (10 and under) are $5; alumni, OLLI members, senior citizens, teens, faculty and staff are $10.
