CCU bands come together for a spring concert

   
Students of the Coastal Carolina University Symphonic Band and The Coastal Winds come together for their season-ending concert on Friday, April 11, at 7:30 p.m. in Wheelwright Auditorium. General admission tickets are $5.

The concert is titled “Both Sides of the Atlantic: Music from America to Europe,” and will include songs such as "Four Scottish Dances" by Malcolm Arnold, "Espana Cani" by Pascual Marquina, "Serenade for Winds & Percussion" by David Gillingham, and "Concord" by Clare Grundman.

Student soloists for the evening include Courtney Pendleton, soprano, Zachery Douglas on trumpet, Stephen Dinda on clarinet and Stephen Healy on tuba.

Ticket prices for CCU/HGTC students, faculty and staff are $3; children are free when accompanied by an adult.

Wheelwright Auditorium is located at 108 Spadoni Park Circle on the CCU campus in Conway.
